Concentration and creative problem solving become impossible.

Blood flow is shut off from the small blood vessels and directed primarily to the big muscles of the arms and legs. This dulls the sense of feel. Fine, precise movements become impossible. Blood pressure increases as does the heart rate.

In full fight or flight a person is literally left with only what is needed to fight or to run away from danger.

As a person’s stress level increases these body changes take place in almost direct proportion to the rising stress level. Therefore, no one can perform at their highest level when they are suffering from stress

Most people will agree that today stress is a major problem in the Western World and up until just recently it was a problem not easily solved.

Now, all that has changed. In dealing with stress we employ a combination of EFT, Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques. This is so effective the complete removal of stress becomes just a matter of two to three hours of therapy/training. While it super effective, this process is very relaxing and totally painless.

Scientists have demonstrated that as a person’s stress level increases his/her skill level decreases.  Therefore, the more stressed-out the individual is the less productive that person will be.  This means that stress is the enemy of success.

But, stress is not just annoying and counterproductive it is also very dangerous.

Stress is the modern expression of the primitive response to danger, know as “Fight or Flight.”

Humans were not designed to stay in this mode for more than just a few minutes at a time – just long enough to overcome the enemy or flee to safety. However, in modern life many people stay stressed for days, months or even years.

This is bad because during “Fight Or Flight” the human body is very different than in times of normal activity. All functions of the body not needed for the struggle about to commence are automatically turned off. The digestive system shuts down, sexual function stops and the immune system is disabled. If necessary, excess waste is eliminated to make the person light on his feet. The heart rate is increased to supply more blood to the big muscles needed for fighting or running. Even the intellect is disconnected.

Normal life is not possible under these conditions, so a person who is experiencing stress is incapable of living a happy, healthy existence.

Stress creates conditions that are just right for ill health.  It is now believed that 80-90% of all disease is stress-related. Thus, to live a healthier life the elimination of stress is essential.

The symptoms of stress can be either physical and/or psychological. Stress-related physical illnesses, such as irritable bowel syndrome, heart attacks, and chronic headaches, result from long-term over-stimulation of the heart. High blood pressure. and digestive system disorders are common.

Stress-related emotional illness results from the fear produced by major changes in one's life situation, such as marriage, completing one's education, the death of a loved one, divorce, becoming a parent, losing a job, or retirement.

In the workplace, stress-related illness often takes the form of burnout--a loss of interest in or ability to perform one's job due to long-term high stress levels.

In her book, “How To Feel Go(o)d, the great neuro-biologist researcher, Candace Pert states that she has proven in the laboratory that humans are “hard-wired” for bliss. This means that being peaceful and happy is our natural state and anything else is un-natural. Thus, if a person is less than blissful there is room for improvement.

In order to be successful and happy one must eliminate all stress producing emotions.  While the conditions may not change the way in which the person interprets and deals with these can now be changed and we have the quickest and most effective method of doing it.

Stress in Children

While children may experience and demonstrate the symptoms of stress differently than adults it is a very serious problem for teenagers and pre-teens.  Fortunately youngsters respond very well to our techniques.

Worry is one of the most horrible, destructive and worthless things a person can experience. Worry can keep a person from enjoying success and happiness, yet worry doesn’t have to be.

Worry is the use of a person’s imagination to project a negative outcome and anytime the imagination and the intellect are in conflict the imagination will win every time. Couple that with the fact that whatever we think about we become and it spells disaster for the person who is a chronic worrier.

Therefore, in order to be successful and happy worry must be eliminated from the person's mind.
